1. Promotion Name

2. Promoter Details

3. Eligibility
3.1 This Promotion is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older, excluding residents of South Australia.
3.2 Employees of OSA, their immediate families, and any affiliated companies or agencies are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
3.3 Participants must provide accurate and complete information when entering the Promotion. Participants indemnify and hold OSA harmless for any and all loss or damage arising from the provision of inaccurate or incomplete information by a participant.
3.4 Participants must not, and entries will be deemed invalid if the participant:
(a) does not meet the eligibility criteria in clause 3.1; and/or
(b) provides incomplete, inaccurate or fraudulent information upon entering the Promotion;
(c) tampers with the entry process;
(d) engages in conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion;
(e) acts in a disruptive, threatening, abusive, harassing or otherwise inappropriate manner;
(f) does anything to diminish the good name or reputation of OSA, its employees, officers or agents (or any related entities); or
(g) breaches the law.
3.5 OSA reserves the right to, at any time, verify the validity of entries and participants and to disqualify any participant who OSA believes has submitted an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
3.6 Participants acknowledge and agree that:
(a) OSA may require them to produce documentation to verify (to OSA’s satisfaction) their entry, including documentation establishing the participants identity, age and place of residence (such as a valid driver’s licence); and
(b) if they refuse to provide such documentation on OSA’s request, their entry may be disqualified at OSA’s sole discretion.
4. Promotional Period
4.1 The Promotion opens at 12.01am AEST on 1/03/25 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 31/05/25 (Promotional Period).
4.2 Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted and will be invalid.
5. How to Enter
5.1 To enter, participants must, during the Promotional Period:
(a) sign up to the OSA email database via the Promotion sign up page online at https://osaaustralia.com.au; and
(b) agree to these terms and conditions.
5.2 Entry is limited to one (1) entry per person unless otherwise specified by OSA.
5.3 Each participant in the Promotion is given an equal chance of winning the Prize.
6. Prize Details
6.1 The prize consists of $3,000 worth of product of the winner’s choice from the OSA product portfolio, calculated at recommended retail price (RRP) value of the selected product(s)(Prize).
6.2 The Prize is subject to stock availability and the winner must select from items in stock at the time of winning, unless otherwise agreed by OSA.
6.3 Should the winner wish to put any amount of the winning prize value towards a restricted item such as a firearm or ammunition, they must hold a valid firearms license, be able to comply with all national and state firearm ownership regulations at the time of purchase and any other conditions relating to purchase of restricted items reasonably required by OSA including, without limitation, providing sufficient proof of identity and evidence of the license held (i.e. their firearms licence number and/or a copy of the relevant licence).
6.4 OSA may, in its absolute discretion and without any obligation to provide a reason for refusal, refuse to allow the winner to redeem the Prize for restricted items.
6.5 The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or other goods or services.
6.6 The winner acknowledges and agrees that:
(a) the Prize must be used in one (1) transaction. The winner is not entitled to redeem a proportion of the Prize at a later date, and should the entire value of the Prize not be claimed or used in the one transaction, any unused portion of the Prize will be forfeited by the winner; and
(b) once the winner has advised OSA of the stock that it would like to put towards the Prize in accordance with clause 7.4, the winner is not entitled to change their order, unless otherwise agreed with OSA acting reasonably.
6.7 OSA reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a similar prize of equal or greater value if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
7.1 The winner will be selected by random draw at the OSA office within five (5) days of the end of the Promotional Period (Draw Date).
7.2 The winner will be notified via email within 2 business days of the Draw Date (Notification Date).
7.3 The winner must claim their Prize within 1 week from the Notification Date by responding to the email referred to in clause 7.2 and confirming that they accept the Prize (Confirmation Email).
7.4 Within one (1) week of the date of receipt of the Confirmation Email, OSA will call the winner at their nominated contact number to discuss redemption of the Prize against available stock items.
7.5 If the winner wishes to redeem the Prize for a restricted item, and the winner is not able to collect such item from OSA directly, OSA will use all reasonable efforts to process the order through the winner’s local firearms dealer. Upon collection of the item, the winner may be required to provide evidence of their firearms licence, as well as any other information required by OSA and/or the relevant firearms dealer. Winner is solely responsible for obtaining a permit to acquire for any restricted items.
7.6 Alternatively, if the winner redeems their Prize for non-restricted items, OSA will use its reasonable efforts to coordinate collection of the items by the winner, or if collection is not possible, OSA will arrange for the items to be delivered to the winner at their nominated address.
7.7 If a winner fails to claim the Prize within 1 week from the Notification Date, OSA will conduct a redraw no later than three (3) months after the Notification Date.
8. Publication of Winners
8.1 OSA reserves the right to publish the names and/or images of the Promotion winner on its website, social media channels, or other promotional materials.
8.2 OSA may use such photographs and names in advertising, website, social media sites (including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) for marketing and promotional purposes. By entering the Promotion, participants consent to the publication of these photographs and their name for the purposes specified in this clause and waive any claims against OSA for the use of such photographs and/or information.
9. Privacy and Data Use
9.1 By entering this Promotion, participants consent to the collection, use, and storage of their personal information by OSA for the purposes of administering the Promotion and notifying winners.
9.2 Participants will also be signed up to the OSA email database to receive the latest industry news, updates, and exclusive offers. Participants can unsubscribe from the email database at any time by following the instructions provided in promotional emails.
9.3 All personal information will be handled in accordance with OSA’s privacy policy, which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The privacy policy is available https://osaaustralia.com.au/privacy-policy.
10.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (Australian Consumer Law) or other relevant legislation.
10.2 Subject to the above paragraph, OSA (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any personal injury, loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, including (without limitation):
(a) technical issues, lost entries, or other events beyond its control;
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry, prize or claim for a prize that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason outside of OSA’s control;
(d) a variation in the Prize in accordance with clause 6.5;
(e) any tax liability incurred by a Participant or winner; or
(f) any use of the Prize or goods purchased from OSA with the Prize.
10.3 Nothing in this clause 10 limits or excludes OSA, its officers, employees and agents, for any costs, losses, damages or expenses to the extent arising as a result of fraudulent or reckless conduct of OSA, its officers, employees and agents, that cannot be excluded under the applicable law.
10.4 OSA may communicate or advertise the Promotion using social media platforms including (without limitation) Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. However, the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with the relevant social media platform. The participants provide their information to OSA, not the social media platforms used by OSA. The participants completely release any social media platform used by OSA to communicate and advertise the Promotion from and against any and all liability.
11. Modifications and Termination
11.1 The promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time without prior notice if circumstances arise beyond its reasonable control.
12. Governing Law
12.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia in respect of these terms and conditions and any dispute between them.
13. Acceptance of Terms
13.1 By entering this competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
